Today we are launching a blog dedicated to the Acer Liquid Android smartphone. We endeavour to bring you the latest news, reviews and tips on this powerful smartphone and we eagerly await its release. Acer officially announced the new Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered handset earlier in the week. The phone is the most powerful Android handset announced to date and will come with Android 1.6 (Donut) on launch.
Acer hasn’t announced a full set of specifications for the phone yet but we do know that it will have a Wide VGA capacitive touch screen. Acer has also tweaked the Android UI with Spinlets, which allow free streaming of worldwide music and video. Many social networking sites will also be integrated including Facebook, Twitter that will have realtime notification of status or content updates.
It will include a 5MP camera with features including geo-tagging, ISO, self-timer options and accelerated auto-focus performance. The phone will be available in three colours (red, white & black) and launches towards the end of November/early December.
