French Android fan site, FrAndroid managed to get some hands-on time with the Acer Liquid last night and came back with some interesting tidbits. Apparently the Acer Liquid will first launch in white only for €349 in December. They also managed to confirm that the Red and Black models will follow suit in January 2010.
There are likely to be regional differences, we previously heard that Expansys Span is listing the handset for €379.99 in time for a 28 November launch. Some of the specs that FrAndroid confirmed included the Qualcomm 8250 clocked at 768 MHz, 256MB RAM and capacitive display.
The handset has a very glossy display which may also irritate some although this does also add to the looks. The keyboard also responded well with the ability to type fast. The 5MP camera had fast autofocus, but no flash unfortunately. Given its launch in just over a month we can’t wait for some more solid info soon.
Update: Revioo also managed to get some hands-on impressions at the French Acer conference. Check out the video after the cut.
Update 2: Also check out another hands-on 8-minute video from GPSAndCo.
