Android rootThe Acer Liquid Android smartphone was only released this week, but modders have been hard at work and already rooted the handset. The great thing is that rather than any complicated procedure, the phone can be rooted via a one-click process.

For the uninitiated, rooting an Android handset allows you to install custom ROMs, change themes, remove preloaded apps, install apps onto the memory card and enables wireless tethering. As with all hacks, tread carefully to make sure you don’t brick your phone. If you want to give it a whirl click here.
