Acer LiquidThe Acer Liquid has seen its first unboxing video courtesy of Paul from Modaco. It’s quite a thorough 12-minute video that goes through the requisite unboxing ritual along with giving us a look at the boot-up process and a quick flick through the menus and camera operations.

My impressions are that the Acer Liquid seems to be quite snappy in terms of flicking through menus (thanks to its Snapdragon processor). There’s only three home-screens here, compared to seven for the HTC Hero and one of these screens houses Acer’s ‘Spinlet’ widgets.

The Liquid comes with a glossy white back and the front display also looks reasonably glossy, hopefully this won’t detract from day-to-day use. The Liquid was also compared to the HTC Hero and whilst it is a bit wider, it’s mostly very similar in height and depth. It was a shame to see the microSD card slot stuck underneath the battery cover, so it’s not hot-swappable. Check out the full video after the break.

Update: YouTube member TechnoloShree also has a great unboxing video for you to check out below. If you still can’t get enough, then retailer Plemix has some impressions you can check out here.
