Acer LiquidOne of the most common questions facing current/prospective owners of the Acer Liquid is when are they likely to see the update to Android v2.0. Well according to Frandroid, the update should be hitting no later than March 2010.

They received word from Augustine Becquet, Director of Acer Smartphones France, on the timeline. It seems Acer is still considering on how it will deliver the update, whether it is OTA (over the air) or via the Acer support pages. We’ll keep you posted on further developments.

Thanks Magnus!

Should I mess up with the system on my Acer Liquid, how can I reinstall from scratch Android ? Is there something similar to the iPhone restore process I used to do via iTunes ?

thank you

Android phones are really annoying. Really puts me off thinking that I will have to wait for official updates – who would want to wait 2 months with no guarantee of an update? Not everyone wants to mess around with custom roms etc
