Dear All
I am new to Android so I apologize if I ask something trivial.
I am in the market for an upgrade from my iPhone (pretty sick of it). The Liquid seems to be the best option for an Android phone that knows WCDMA at 1900MHz (which I will need occasionally). One feature I want to have is voice over IP. I know I can accomplish this with the app SipDroid. And this is where my question comes in.
Does SipDroid work well with the Liquid? I understand it integrates wonderfully into the dialer for a stock Android system. I just want to comfirm that the stuff Acer put in addition the stock Android will not hinder this feature.
Also I heard that non-stock Android phones have issues with the standard marketplace for apps. IS this the case for the Liquid? Is there a separate marketplace that Acer maintains or can you just get apps from the market?
Finally, does it have 256MB or 512MB RAM. I read conflicting reports.
Thanks.
L
