What do you think, when and how will we get android 2.x?

This is something Acer has been very quiet about. Other manufacturers (like Sony Ericsson) have openly said that their Android handsets will be upgradeable, but we've heard nothing from Acer.

Also, as this is not a ‘Google Experience’ handset it means we would need to wait for Acer to customize the ROM before passing it on. Let’s hope Acer tell us what its plans are soon!

I read in the internet specifically the frandroid in France is saying beginning of June, also there are already ROMs for Android of the Eclair available on the internet, but I'll suggest 'do it by yourself' not using an open/community firmware, build yourself the android.

I would not hold your breath ... Acer support for the Smartphones is always rubbish....
