Acer Liquid and Windows 7

Postby austerus » Wed Feb 10, 2010 8:52 pm

Hello,

I have the Acer Liquid (AAP ROM) and Windows 7 x86. I got the USB drivers from the Acer's support site, but despite this I cannot access the phone's mass storage device (SD card). Is there anyone that might help, any ideas?

Thanks!

    1. Pull down the notifications taksbar at the top of the phone from the home screen

    2. Choose the USB connected option

    3. From there, choose "Mount". Now Windows 7 will recognize the device as an external drive and it will appear in My Computer. You cannot access the SD card via the phone now.

    4. Copy files or whatever

    5. From the Windows 7 system tray, eject the new drive

    6. Repeat step 1 and choose "Turn off". This will remount the SD card on your phone
