Who is looking forward to the Acer Liquid?

Postby Liquid » Wed Nov 04, 2009 5:24 pm

Okay, the Acer Liquid has been announced and all we await are some firm launch details (price/availability). We have heard that it will probably launch at the end of this month/early next for around €350-€400.

The Acer Liquid is one of the most powerful Android handsets on the market and I for one can’t wait for one. The price point also looks to be very reasonable. I thought it would be useful to get an idea as to how many people is interested in getting the handset. Answer in the poll above!

Hey
Never heard about this mobile phone before but it's looking pretty fine and intresting so I'm wondering, when it's going to appear in Austria!

Well it's meant to be hitting most of parts of Europe by next month, hopefully that includes Austria! ;)

Personally, I'm waiting for reviews, although this phone does look very interesting. The rumoured price point is what sets it apart, let's just hope that the user experience is delivered too!

I spoke to the guy who's working in A1-Vodafone and he told me, that Acer is in discussion, but the delivery date is unknown.

I ordered mine on the 4th from Clove.co.uk, I couldn't wait to see if any UK carrier is going to get it yet, seems like it may even be 2010 until they sort out a deal. O2 £20/mo simplicity for 12months will do me fine.

Can't wait!

great phone,

very fast, stable, most of the apps at market works with the liquid.
Gps works very good with the liquid, its the fastest i ever had(cold start)
wireless works good, bluethooth, never used
3g works great, very good signal reception
voice calls also are very clear, but the dealer could be more pretty and i m missing a buttom to end the calls
all the sensors works great, it even has a metal detector
all my contacs are now saved at my gmail account, if i do a reset, the phone will automaticaly download my contacs

only 2 things i m missing on the liquid,

autonomy- battery only last a day
flash- with a 5mp cam they could include a flash
